Stat. § 2-1814","body":"As used in sections 2-1813 to 2-1825 , unless the context otherwise requires:\n\n(1) Department shall mean the Department of Agriculture;\n\n(2) Director shall mean the Director of Agriculture;\n\n(3) Nebraska Potato Development Committee shall mean the advisory committee established by section 2-1803 ;\n\n(4) Commercial potato growing area shall mean a geographic area in which potatoes are produced and offered for sale in commercial quantities;\n\n(5) Commercial shipment shall mean any potatoes shipped in commerce or processed and destined for human consumption, and noncertified seed potatoes shipped out of the state;\n\n(6) Commercial potato acreage shall mean a potato field of three acres or more; and\n\n(7) Preceding crop year shall mean the last calendar year for which official acreage statistics have been compiled by the state-federal division of agricultural statistics.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 2"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=2-1814","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"cc8f9e6632b488fa2c37558a0d0c4da8414e198ab12cf111486ecdc20dddce8a","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-2-1813","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-2-1815"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
