Stat. § 21-2221","body":"Sections 21-2201 to 21-2222 shall not apply to any individual or group of individuals within this state who prior to December 25, 1969, were permitted to organize a corporation and perform personal services to the public by the means of a corporation, and sections 21-2201 to 21-2222 shall not apply to any corporations organized by such individual or group of individuals prior to December 25, 1969; Provided, any such individual or group of individuals or any such corporation may bring themselves and such corporation within the provisions of sections 21-2201 to 21-2222 by amending the articles of incorporation in such a manner as to be consistent with all the provisions of sections 21-2201 to 21-2222 and by affirmatively stating in the amended articles of incorporation that the shareholders have elected to bring the corporation within the provisions of sections 21-2201 to 21-2222 .","path":["NE Code","Chapter 21"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=21-2221","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"3d689863f2a141e691cf9e1dd2c06a84c7c6b051a844b635816e5687ff018200","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-21-2220","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-21-2222"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
