Stat. § 25-1902","heading":"Final order, defined; appeal.","body":"(1) The following are final orders which may be vacated, modified, or reversed:\n(a) An order affecting a substantial right in an action, when such order in effect determines the action and prevents a judgment;\n(b) An order affecting a substantial right made during a special proceeding;\n(c) An order affecting a substantial right made on summary application in an action after a judgment is entered; and\n(d) An order denying a motion for summary judgment when such motion is based on the assertion of sovereign immunity or the immunity of a government official.\n(2) An order under subdivision (1)(d) of this section may be appealed pursuant to section 25-1912 within thirty days after the entry of such order or within thirty days after the entry of judgment.","path":["Chapter 25 - COURTS; CIVIL PROCEDURE"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=25-1902","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-10-18T05:56:02Z","sha256":"95f4c88f553b73527752671df54f1c1f7fd63186a6dad6a085b1939a28d7e0f3","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-25-1901","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-25-1903"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
