Stat. § 28-627","body":"(1) A person commits the offense of unlawful manufacture of a financial transaction device if, with intent to defraud, such person:\n\n(a) Falsely makes or manufactures, by printing, embossing, or magnetically encoding, a financial transaction device;\n\n(b) Falsely alters or adds service marks, optical characters, or holographic images to a device which is, purports to be, or is circulated to become or represent if completed a financial transaction device; or\n\n(c) Falsely completes a financial transaction device by adding to an incomplete device to make it appear to be a complete one.\n\n(2) Any person committing the offense of unlawful manufacture of a financial transaction device shall be guilty of a Class IIA felony.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 28"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=28-627","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"e87b82df0f13c120707edc4f514210a225ba0b8050e979432b626a58b852a743","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-28-626","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-28-627.01"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
