Stat. § 28-806","body":"(1) A person, eighteen years of age or over, commits public indecency if such person performs or procures, or assists any other person to perform, in a public place and where the conduct may reasonably be expected to be viewed by members of the public:\n\n(a) An act of sexual penetration; or\n\n(b) An exposure of the genitals of the body done with intent to affront or alarm any person; or\n\n(c) A lewd fondling or caressing of the body of another person of the same or opposite sex.\n\n(2) Public indecency is a Class II misdemeanor.\n\n(3) It shall not be a violation of this section for an individual to breast-feed a child in a public place.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 28"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=28-806","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"474bfcc5745411a106ca9979836fb436208f92c294b232ecab031cb0029c8ea6","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-28-805","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-28-807"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
