Stat. § 29-4016","body":"For purposes of the Sexual Predator Residency Restriction Act:\n\n(1) Child care facility means a facility licensed pursuant to the Child Care Licensing Act;\n\n(2) Political subdivision means a village, a city, a county, a school district, a public power district, or any other unit of local government;\n\n(3) School means a public, private, denominational, or parochial school which meets the requirements for accreditation or approval prescribed in Chapter 79;\n\n(4) Sex offender means an individual who has been convicted of a crime listed in section 29-4003 and who is required to register as a sex offender pursuant to the Sex Offender Registration Act; and\n\n(5) Sexual predator means an individual who is required to register under the Sex Offender Registration Act, who has committed an aggravated offense as defined in section 29-4001.01 , and who has victimized a person eighteen years of age or younger.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 29"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=29-4016","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"a6da718c278e25caac458bd57ca5b5babcc2b1262fa52f905c36ede937a95bbe","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-29-4015","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-29-4017"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
