Stat. § 29-4503","body":"(1) All statements relating to crimes described in subsection (2) of this section and statements regarding rights described in section 29-4501 or the waiver of such rights made during a custodial interrogation at a place of detention that are described in subsection (2) of this section shall be electronically recorded.\n\n(2) Statements subject to subsection (1) of this section are those statements relating to:\n\n(a) Crimes resulting in death or felonies involving (i) sexual assault, (ii) kidnapping, (iii) child abuse, or (iv) strangulation; or\n\n(b) Offenses being investigated as part of the same course of conduct as the offenses described in subdivision (a) of this subsection.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 29"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=29-4503","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"beb2cd86975f81dd7c0b8895043c83703e94673c88f33e0ad4af6dd404821f94","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-29-4502","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-29-4504"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
