Stat. § 30-3512","body":"A third person in good faith and without a court order may act on instructions of, or otherwise deal with, a person purporting to make a transfer as, or purporting to act in the capacity of, a custodial trustee. In the absence of knowledge to the contrary, the third person is not responsible for determining:\n\n(1) The validity of the purported custodial trustee's designation;\n\n(2) The propriety of, or the authority under the Nebraska Uniform Custodial Trust Act for, any action of the purported custodial trustee;\n\n(3) The validity or propriety of an instrument executed or instruction given pursuant to the act either by the person purporting to make a transfer or declaration or by the purported custodial trustee; or\n\n(4) The propriety of the application of property vested in the purported custodial trustee.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 30"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=30-3512","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"0fcb85953c897214d2be7a91d3c62f2623882065238632a4f92254fa316ff08b","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-30-3511","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-30-3513"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
