Stat. § 30-3809","body":"(UTC 109) (a) Notice to a person under the Nebraska Uniform Trust Code or the sending of a document to a person under the code must be accomplished in a manner reasonably suitable under the circumstances and likely to result in receipt of the notice or document. Permissible methods of notice or for sending a document include first-class mail, personal delivery, delivery to the person's last-known place of residence or place of business, or a properly directed electronic message.\n\n(b) Notice otherwise required under the code or a document otherwise required to be sent under the code need not be provided to a person whose identity or location is unknown to and not reasonably ascertainable by the trustee.\n\n(c) Notice under the code or the sending of a document under the code may be waived by the person to be notified or sent the document.\n\n(d) Notice of a judicial proceeding may be given as provided in the applicable rules of civil procedure or as in section 30-2220 .","path":["NE Code","Chapter 30"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=30-3809","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"b0e2c2432b46fb97f5fe9eb4d8078c4699b8237e589515111efd1db2a22bbcb2","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-30-3808","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-30-3810"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
