Stat. § 30-4103","body":"For purposes of the Public Guardianship Act:\n\n(1) Council means the Advisory Council on Public Guardianship;\n\n(2) Multidisciplinary team means the team of professionals hired by the Public Guardian pursuant to section 30-4104 ;\n\n(3) Office means the Office of Public Guardian;\n\n(4) Private conservator means an individual or a corporation with general power to serve as trustee who is not with the office and who is appointed by the court to act as conservator for a protected person;\n\n(5) Private guardian means any person who is not with the office and who is appointed by the court to act as guardian for a ward;\n\n(6) Protected person is as defined in section 30-2601 ;\n\n(7) Public Guardian means the director of the office;\n\n(8) Successor conservator means an individual or a corporation with general power to serve as trustee who is recruited by the office to become a conservator for a protected person previously served by the office;\n\n(9) Successor guardian means a person or entity who is recruited by the office to become a guardian for a ward previously served by the office; and\n\n(10) Ward is as defined in section 30-2601 .","path":["NE Code","Chapter 30"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=30-4103","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"bcfbbd0fba8757e082ec35875f843384edf158e4c67323c744d7b9d1e135d873","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-30-4102","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-30-4104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
