Stat. § 30-510","body":"Unless otherwise ordered by the court, directed by the principal, or provided by a power of attorney, a custodian shall disclose to an agent with specific authority over digital assets or general authority to act on behalf of a principal a catalogue of electronic communications sent or received by the principal and digital assets, other than the content of electronic communications, of the principal if the agent gives the custodian:\n\n(1) a written request for disclosure in physical or electronic form;\n\n(2) an original or a copy of the power of attorney that gives the agent specific authority over digital assets or general authority to act on behalf of the principal;\n\n(3) a certification by the agent, under penalty of perjury, that the power of attorney is in effect; and\n\n(4) if requested by the custodian:\n\n(A) a number, username, address, or other unique subscriber or account identifier assigned by the custodian to identify the principal’s account; or\n\n(B) evidence linking the account to the principal.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 30"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=30-510","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"b4e65a1ed1ebe8389bcbda64012ee815680ed4fca5d14561e09feb26fba5a6c9","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-30-509","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-30-511"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
