Stat. § 32-1546","body":"(1) Any person who is not, at the time of signing a petition, a registered voter and qualified to sign the petition except as provided in subdivision (1) of section 32-629 or who signs any name other than his or her own to any petition shall be guilty of a Class I misdemeanor.\n\n(2) Any person who falsely swears to a circulator's affidavit on a petition, who accepts money or other things of value for signing a petition, or who offers money or other things of value in exchange for a signature upon any petition shall be guilty of a Class IV felony.\n\n(3) Any person who falsifies a letter submitted pursuant to section 32-632 or subsection (3) of section 32-1305 or who signs any name other than his or her own to such letter shall be guilty of a Class I misdemeanor.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 32"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=32-1546","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"8e67cd7e8df593c9bc432c9818c7267ac7c2c2946766c739d4745cc471bd97db","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-32-1545","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-32-1547"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
