Stat. § 37-1404","body":"The Nebraska Invasive Species Council shall:\n\n(1) Recommend action to minimize the effects of harmful invasive species on Nebraska's citizens in order to promote the economic and environmental well-being of the state;\n\n(2) Develop and periodically update a statewide adaptive management plan for invasive species as described in section 37-1405 ;\n\n(3) Serve as a forum for discussion, identification, and understanding of invasive species issues;\n\n(4) Facilitate the communication, cooperation, and coordination of local, state, federal, private, and nongovernmental entities for the prevention, control, and management of invasive species;\n\n(5) Assist with public outreach and awareness of invasive species issues; and\n\n(6) Provide information to the Legislature for decision making, planning, and coordination of invasive species management and prevention.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 37"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=37-1404","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"1e829fbf24d969802ceed0c757ae1adb308659f99bbed570ab5e98a33574a546","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-37-1403","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-37-1405"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
