Stat. § 37-729","body":"For purposes of sections 37-729 to 37-736 :\n\n(1) Land includes roads, water, watercourses, private ways, and buildings, structures, and machinery or equipment thereon when attached to the realty;\n\n(2) Owner includes tenant, lessee, occupant, or person in control of the premises;\n\n(3) Recreational purposes includes, but is not limited to, any one or any combination of the following: Hunting, fishing, swimming, boating, camping, picnicking, hiking, pleasure driving, nature study, waterskiing, winter sports, and visiting, viewing, or enjoying historical, archaeological, scenic, or scientific sites, or otherwise using land for purposes of the user; and\n\n(4) Charge means the amount of money asked in return for an invitation to enter or go upon the land.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 37"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=37-729","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"9f8baf18002d22697cf0cfbc046e8dd6b8d6c8bcc8313a21d0ef63f65e67f17c","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-37-728","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-37-730"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
