Stat. § 38-1147","body":"(1) All licensed dentists practicing in this state shall submit a report to the board within thirty days of any incident which results in death or physical or mental injury requiring hospitalization of a patient which occurs in the outpatient facilities of such dentist during, or as a direct result of, general anesthesia, deep sedation, moderate sedation, minimal sedation, or inhalation analgesia.\n\n(2) The incident report shall include, but not be limited to:\n\n(a) A description of the dental procedure;\n\n(b) A description of the preoperative physical condition of the patient;\n\n(c) A list of the drugs and the dosage administered;\n\n(d) A detailed description of the techniques used in administering the drugs;\n\n(e) A description of the incident, including, but not limited to, a detailed description of the symptoms of any complications, the symptoms of onset, and the type of symptoms in the patient;\n\n(f) A description of the treatment instituted;\n\n(g) A description of the patient's response to the treatment; and\n\n(h) A description of the patient's condition on termination of any procedures undertaken.\n\n(3) Failure to submit an incident report as required by this section shall result in the loss of the permit.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 38"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=38-1147","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"c4f6bc3ccce8070540acdb8d6fbf685a16bcb0b78d6ae77b140054f4fdec18c3","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-38-1146","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-38-1148"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
