Stat. § 38-1216","body":"In addition to any other responsibilities prescribed by the Emergency Medical Services Practice Act, the board shall:\n\n(1) Promote the dissemination of public information and education programs to inform the public about emergency medical service and other medical information, including appropriate methods of medical self-help, first aid, and the availability of emergency medical services training programs in the state;\n\n(2) Provide for the collection of information for evaluation of the availability and quality of emergency medical care, evaluate the availability and quality of emergency medical care, and serve as a focal point for discussion of the provision of emergency medical care;\n\n(3) Establish model procedures for patient management in medical emergencies that do not limit the authority of law enforcement and fire protection personnel to manage the scene during a medical emergency; and\n\n(4) Identify communication needs of emergency medical services and make recommendations for development of a communications plan for a communications network for emergency care providers and emergency medical services.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 38"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=38-1216","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"efc2da8904c6ea6e2943bddde0efc5912c7917a2065acf96bb0d0e21a8855039","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-38-1215","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-38-1217"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
