Stat. § 38-523","body":"An audiology or speech-language pathology assistant may, under the supervision of a licensed audiologist or speech-language pathologist, perform the following duties and activities:\n\n(1) Implement programs and procedures designed by a licensed audiologist or speech-language pathologist;\n\n(2) Maintain records of implemented procedures which document a patient's responses to treatment;\n\n(3) Provide input for interdisciplinary treatment planning, inservice training, and other activities directed by a licensed audiologist or speech-language pathologist;\n\n(4) Prepare instructional material to facilitate program implementation as directed by a licensed audiologist or speech-language pathologist;\n\n(5) Follow plans, developed by the licensed audiologist or speech-language pathologist, that provide specific sequences of treatment to individuals with communicative disorders or dysphagia; and\n\n(6) Chart or log patient responses to the treatment plan.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 38"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=38-523","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"7bead86804559cc7a500413f9b9ac7b5f6f638a9b6fafb84440e6ec464cdccfc","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-38-522","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-38-524"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
