Stat. § 39-2905","heading":"Commission; powers and duties.","body":"(1) The commission shall:\n(a) Adopt bylaws, policies, and operating procedures that govern the administration of the investment program;\n(b) Approve or deny applications for financial assistance based on established evaluation criteria;\n(c) Establish financial, risk management, and internal control policies consistent with generally accepted accounting principles; and\n(d) Approve annual budgets, audits, and reports for the investment program.\n(2) The commission may:\n(a) Enter into any cooperative agreement with any federal or state agency, local government, or private entity; and\n(b) Delegate any administrative or technical function to any personnel or agent of the commission as necessary to implement the Infrastructure Development Investment Program Act.","path":["Chapter 39 - HIGHWAYS AND BRIDGES"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=39-2905","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:11Z","sha256":"323fe62375a8f48344a62e3e38bb441d645de842916ee3d47967b49ba70a928a","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-39-2904","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-39-2906"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
