Stat. § 42-710","body":"(a) A tribunal of this state that has issued a child support order consistent with the law of this state may serve as an initiating tribunal to request a tribunal of another state to enforce:\n\n(1) the order if the order is the controlling order and has not been modified by a tribunal of another state that assumed jurisdiction pursuant to the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act; or\n\n(2) a money judgment for arrears of support and interest on the order accrued before a determination that an order of a tribunal of another state is the controlling order.\n\n(b) A tribunal of this state having continuing jurisdiction over a support order may act as a responding tribunal to enforce the order.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 42"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=42-710","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"53cd2a8c3a50c803d02c398d142305ddc0ef8819129a4fef938ba1584f63a2d1","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-42-709","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-42-711"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
