Stat. § 42-734.05","body":"(a) An obligor may contest the validity or enforcement of an income withholding order issued in another state and received directly by an employer in this state by registering the order in a tribunal of this state and filing a contest to that order as provided in sections 42-736 to 42-747.04 or otherwise contesting the order in the same manner as if the order had been issued by a tribunal of this state.\n\n(b) The obligor shall give notice of the contest to:\n\n(1) a support enforcement agency providing services to the obligee;\n\n(2) each employer that has directly received an income withholding order relating to the obligor; and\n\n(3) the person designated to receive payments in the income withholding order or, if no person is designated, to the obligee.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 42"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=42-734.05","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"27d37b496b6ec96e5f58a2004271edcd73bfaa7b1b60378a8c515367ee323f5f","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-42-734.04","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-42-735"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
