Stat. § 42-747","body":"If a child support order issued by a tribunal of this state is modified by a tribunal of another state which assumed jurisdiction pursuant to the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act, a tribunal of this state, upon request, except as otherwise provided in the act:\n\n(1) may enforce its order that was modified only as to arrearages and interest accruing before the modification;\n\n(2) may provide appropriate relief for violations of its order which occurred before the effective date of the modification; and\n\n(3) shall recognize the modifying order of the other state, upon registration, for the purpose of enforcement.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 42"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=42-747","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"431323fd6812cdeac10e4c42a1b93b1e8cfb67efa1ed271623fe2d33bfc07fc5","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-42-746","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-42-747.01"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
