Stat. § 42-814","body":"The petition shall:\n\n(1) Allege that a controversy exists between the spouses and request the aid of the court to effect a reconciliation or an amicable settlement of the controversy;\n\n(2) State the name and age of each minor child whose welfare may be affected by the controversy;\n\n(3) State the name and address of the petitioner, or the names and addresses of the petitioners;\n\n(4) If the petition is presented by one spouse only, name the other spouse as a respondent, and state the address of that spouse;\n\n(5) Name as a respondent any other person who has any relation to the controversy, and state the address of the person, if known to the petitioner; and\n\n(6) State such other information as the conciliation court may by rule require.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 42"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=42-814","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"910d0e2cd53dc394837555657fbf15bee33287e8b6075a5feb76dd69ba4cb563","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-42-813","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-42-815"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
