Stat. § 43-3706","body":"(1) Court appointed special advocate programs may be established and shall operate pursuant to the Court Appointed Special Advocate Act.\n\n(2) A court appointed special advocate program shall:\n\n(a) Be an organization that screens, trains, and supervises court appointed special advocate volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children when appointed by a court as provided in section 43-3710 . Each court may be served by a court appointed special advocate program. One program may serve more than one court;\n\n(b) Hold regular case conferences with volunteers to review case progress and conduct annual performance reviews for all volunteers;\n\n(c) Provide staff and volunteers with written program policies, practices, and procedures; and\n\n(d) Provide the training required pursuant to section 43-3708 .","path":["NE Code","Chapter 43"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=43-3706","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"41bf748acec8feb8a75a298628d583553c29d0c8a5ab52f6c31e85fd46b7bb95","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-43-3705","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-43-3707"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
