Stat. § 43-3717","body":"The Legislature finds and declares that:\n\n(1) The safety and well-being of abused and neglected children throughout the State of Nebraska should be of paramount concern to the state and its residents;\n\n(2) Court appointed special advocate volunteers provide a unique and vital service to the children they represent and work to ensure the safety and well-being of abused and neglected children;\n\n(3) Court appointed special advocate volunteers have provided, in many cases, the judges who adjudicate cases with essential information that has not only ensured the safety and well-being of abused and neglected children throughout Nebraska, but has also saved the state thousands of dollars; and\n\n(4) Providing resources through a grant program will increase the savings to the state through court appointed special advocate programs.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 43"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=43-3717","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"ced587e882a8f613c17f2a7f9a97c6592186780adebbba3dbb3102c8c5f59355","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-43-3716","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-43-3718"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
