Stat. § 43-3904","body":"(a) A court on its own motion may order abduction prevention measures in a child custody proceeding if the court finds that the evidence establishes a credible risk of abduction of the child.\n\n(b) A party to a child custody determination or another individual or entity having a right under the law of this state or any other state to seek a child custody determination for the child may file a petition seeking abduction prevention measures to protect the child under the Uniform Child Abduction Prevention Act.\n\n(c) A county attorney or the Attorney General may seek a warrant to take physical custody of a child under section 43-3909 or other appropriate prevention measures.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 43"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=43-3904","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"1305ebe15dc474124f03027e0cae33eda6920a187e83ede31897b1a43a8bbcc7","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-43-3903","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-43-3905"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
