Stat. § 43-3906","body":"A petition under the Uniform Child Abduction Prevention Act must be verified and include a copy of any existing child custody determination, if available. The petition must specify the risk factors for abduction, including the relevant factors described in section 43-3907 . Subject to subsection (e) of section 43-1246 , if reasonably ascertainable, the petition must contain:\n\n(1) the name, date of birth, and gender of the child;\n\n(2) the customary address and current physical location of the child;\n\n(3) the identity, customary address, and current physical location of the respondent;\n\n(4) a statement of whether a prior action to prevent abduction or domestic violence has been filed by a party or other individual or entity having custody of the child, and the date, location, and disposition of the action;\n\n(5) a statement of whether a party to the proceeding has been arrested for a crime related to domestic violence, stalking, or child abuse or neglect, and the date, location, and disposition of the case; and\n\n(6) any other information required to be submitted to the court for a child custody determination under section 43-1246 .","path":["NE Code","Chapter 43"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=43-3906","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"61f0f68c71e3a093d1e152af80033a8576582ee08246b43e66345bad8da6100d","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-43-3905","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-43-3907"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
