Stat. § 44-4224","body":"The pool administrator shall:\n\n(1) Perform all eligibility verification functions relating to the pool;\n\n(2) Establish a premium billing procedure for collection of premiums from covered individuals on a periodic basis as determined by the board;\n\n(3) Perform all necessary functions to assure timely payment of benefits to covered individuals, including:\n\n(a) Making available information relating to the proper manner of submitting a claim for benefits to the pool and distributing forms upon which submission shall be made; and\n\n(b) Evaluating the eligibility of each claim for payment by the pool;\n\n(4) Submit regular reports to the board regarding the operation of the pool. The frequency, content, and form of the reports shall be determined by the board;\n\n(5) Following the close of each calendar year, report such income and expense items as directed by the board to the board and the department on a form prescribed by the director; and\n\n(6) Be paid as provided in the plan of operation for its expenses incurred in the performance of its services to the pool.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 44"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=44-4224","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"0f446af71c70c94ba0b9553e925fcb59e20481a7204f5484a227a130c372dd02","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-44-4223","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-44-4225"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
