Stat. § 44-4802","body":"The proceedings authorized by the Nebraska Insurers Supervision, Rehabilitation, and Liquidation Act may be applied to:\n\n(1) All insurers who are doing or have done an insurance business in this state and against whom claims arising from that business may exist now or in the future;\n\n(2) All insurers who purport to do an insurance business in this state;\n\n(3) All insurers who have insureds who are residents of this state;\n\n(4) All other persons organized or in the process of organizing with the intent to do an insurance business in this state;\n\n(5) All fraternal benefit societies subject to Chapter 44, article 10;\n\n(6) All title insurers subject to the Title Insurers Act;\n\n(7) All health maintenance organizations subject to the Health Maintenance Organization Act;\n\n(8) All legal service insurance corporations subject to Chapter 44, article 33;\n\n(9) All prepaid dental service corporations subject to Chapter 44, article 38; and\n\n(10) All prepaid limited health service organizations subject to the Prepaid Limited Health Service Organization Act.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 44"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=44-4802","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"6f2fc864713a92d2a44bd2f8625fe75003a48f8715e919b09b9f9d0a66a0810c","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-44-4801","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-44-4803"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
