Stat. § 44-5606","body":"(1) An insurer shall not engage the services of any person, firm, association, or corporation to act as a reinsurance intermediary-broker on its behalf unless such person, firm, association, or corporation is licensed as required by subsection (1) of section 44-5603 .\n\n(2) An insurer may not employ a person who is employed by a reinsurance intermediary-broker with which it transacts business unless such reinsurance intermediary-broker is under common control with the insurer and subject to the Insurance Holding Company System Act.\n\n(3) An insurer shall annually obtain a copy of statements of the financial condition of each reinsurance intermediary-broker with which it transacts business.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 44"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=44-5606","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"b21eac6a9843dea6f5a48477f804460e72908180ab3f3a467a5d789bf44ea4cd","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-44-5605","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-44-5607"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
