Stat. § 44-8803","heading":"Navigator; registration required; prohibited acts.","body":"(1) No individual or entity shall perform, offer to perform, or advertise any service as a navigator in this state unless registered as a navigator by the director.\n(2) A navigator shall not:\n(a) Engage in any activities that would require an insurance producer license;\n(b) Violate section 44-4050;\n(c) Recommend or endorse a particular health plan;\n(d) Accept any compensation or consideration from an insurance company, broker, or consultant that is dependent, in whole or in part, on whether a person enrolls in or purchases a qualified health plan; or\n(e) Fail to respond to any written inquiry from the director regarding the navigator's duties as a navigator or fail to request additional reasonable time to respond within fifteen working days.","path":["Chapter 44 - INSURANCE"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=44-8803","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:11Z","sha256":"db731efe231f06f71ebc6f31f146fd9c942aeff10defda24eec97e29d279b342","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-44-8802","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-44-8804"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
