Stat. § 44-925","body":"(1) By July 1, 2001, a licensee shall provide an initial notice, as required by section 44-904 , to consumers who are the licensee's customers on July 1, 2001, with regard to nonpublic personal financial information.\n\n(2) Until July 1, 2002, a contract that a licensee has entered into with a nonaffiliated third party to perform services for the licensee or functions on the licensee's behalf satisfies the provisions of subdivision (1)(a)(ii) of section 44-913 , even if the contract does not include a requirement that the third party maintain the confidentiality of nonpublic personal information, as long as the licensee entered into the agreement on or before July 1, 2000.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 44"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=44-925","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"882aad17dcdfec28020d1ed2c39437aca0ca3615f654dde94b7948fbf54ccca6","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-44-924","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-84-1601"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
