Stat. § 45-739","body":"Not less than fifteen days prior to the effective date of the transfer of servicing rights involving any residential mortgage loan, the licensee transferring the servicing rights shall send a written notice of transfer to each borrower which shall include:\n\n(1) The effective date of the transfer;\n\n(2) The name, address, and telephone number of the transferee and the name of a referral person or department of the transferee;\n\n(3) Instructions concerning payments made before the effective date of the transfer; and\n\n(4) Instructions concerning payments made after the effective date of the transfer.\n\nThe provisions of this section shall not apply when the licensee transferring the servicing rights has provided the borrower with a written notice of transfer at the time of closing on the residential mortgage loan.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 45"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=45-739","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"dde7caf6a25718ae1461a19fbdcb34d4df37c13b2f53815f6fac293e71e94f4e","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-45-738","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-45-740"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
