Stat. § 48-2611","body":"(1) Within seventy-two hours after entering into an agency contract or before the next scheduled athletic event in which the student-athlete may participate, whichever occurs first, the athlete agent shall give notice in a record of the existence of the contract to the athletic director of the educational institution at which the student-athlete is enrolled or the athlete agent has reasonable grounds to believe the student-athlete intends to enroll.\n\n(2) Within seventy-two hours after entering into an agency contract or before the next athletic event in which the student-athlete may participate, whichever occurs first, the student-athlete shall inform the athletic director of the educational institution at which the student-athlete is enrolled that he or she has entered into an agency contract.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 48"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=48-2611","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"0f836909bc01978d1b9831906f0b1b5181c68f0db88f6dc73f3e9bd7cd3f7232","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-48-2610","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-48-2612"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
