Stat. § 48-624","body":"For any benefit year beginning on or after January 1, 2018:\n\n(1) An individual's weekly benefit amount shall be one-half of his or her average weekly wage rounded down to the nearest even whole dollar amount, but shall not exceed one-half of the state average weekly wage as annually determined under section 48-121.02 ;\n\n(2) For purposes of this section, an individual's average weekly wage shall equal the wages paid for insured work in the highest quarter of the base period divided by thirteen; and\n\n(3) Any change in the weekly benefit amounts prescribed in this section or in the maximum annual benefit amount prescribed in section 48-626 shall be applicable for the calendar year following the annual determination made pursuant to section 48-121.02 .","path":["NE Code","Chapter 48"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=48-624","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"ca70c9de7cbb3992ad6b28bd186a4d0501d8c0496ab3bdfcf06052a6da1b35cf","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-48-623","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-48-625"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
