Stat. § 49-1804","body":"(a) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (b) of this section, if a law of this state requires or permits use of a sworn declaration, an unsworn declaration meeting the requirements of the Uniform Unsworn Foreign Declarations Act has the same effect as a sworn declaration.\n\n(b) The act does not apply to:\n\n(1) a deposition;\n\n(2) an oath of office;\n\n(3) an oath required to be given before a specified official other than a notary public;\n\n(4) a declaration to be recorded pursuant to a filing of a conveyance of or a lien on any interest in real estate;\n\n(5) a power of attorney; or\n\n(6) an oath required by section 30-2329 .","path":["NE Code","Chapter 49"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=49-1804","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"9f02c56a6076547c733a8b11007e620bfa03f68f7de2a9489128e65c8dcd32e8","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-49-1803","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-49-1805"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
