Stat. § 53-222","body":"(1) Sections 53-201 to 53-223 shall apply to agreements in existence on April 18, 1989, and agreements entered into or renewed after such date.\n\n(2) A transferee of a wholesaler that continues in business as a wholesaler shall have the benefit of and be bound by all terms and conditions of the agreement with the supplier in effect on the date of the transfer. A transfer of a wholesaler's business which requires the supplier's consent or approval but is disapproved by the supplier shall be null and void.\n\n(3) A successor to a supplier that continues in business as a supplier shall be bound by all terms and conditions of each distribution agreement that the predecessor was a party to at the time of transfer with respect to each brand the successor continues to make available for sale in this state.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 53"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=53-222","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"339ff7af2c7c2ade5d8befe35b778c45281f1e02a7dbb124788579ef34382123","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-53-221","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-53-223"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
