Stat. § 6-103","heading":"Scope.","body":"The Uniform Assignment for Benefit of Creditors Act applies to an assignment made by an assignor that is:\n(1) an organization whose principal place of business is in this state;\n(2) an organization whose internal affairs are governed by other law of this state;\n(3) an individual whose principal residence is in this state;\n(4) an organization wholly owned, directly or indirectly, by an assignor that satisfies subdivision (1), (2), or (3) of this section; or\n(5) an organization that:\n(A) is partly owned, directly or indirectly, and controlled by an assignor that satisfies subdivision (1), (2), or (3) of this section;\n(B) has no place of business or employees; and\n(C) relies on the services the organization receives from an assignor that satisfies subdivision (1), (2), or (3) of this section.","path":["Chapter 6 - ASSIGNMENT FOR CREDITORS"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=6-103","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-10-18T05:52:50Z","sha256":"e55a0edeb4f31e2f5b98236de6b162605dbbaa7b04880a9ba8cc10fd95f575dd","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-6-102","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-6-104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
