Stat. § 60-1401.19","body":"Franchise means a contract between two or more persons when all of the following conditions are included:\n\n(1) A commercial relationship of definite duration or continuing indefinite duration is involved;\n\n(2) The franchisee is granted the right to offer and sell motor vehicles manufactured or distributed by the franchisor;\n\n(3) The franchisee, as an independent business, constitutes a component of the franchisor's distribution system;\n\n(4) The operation of the franchisee's business is substantially associated with the franchisor's trademark, service mark, trade name, advertising, or other commercial symbol designating the franchisor; and\n\n(5) The operation of the franchisee's business is substantially reliant on the franchisor for the continued supply of motor vehicles, parts, and accessories.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 60"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=60-1401.19","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"50ab943dee57739aaeed62c52c3b5b22b061de3aac683fb31369074a3c434bee","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-60-1401.18","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-60-1401.20"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
