Stat. § 60-3308","body":"(1) Automated-driving-system-equipped vehicles and automated driving systems are governed exclusively by sections 60-3301 to 60-3311 . The department is the sole and exclusive state agency that may implement sections 60-3301 to 60-3311 .\n\n(2) The state or any political subdivision shall not impose requirements, including performance standards, specific to the operation of automated-driving-system-equipped vehicles, automated driving systems, or on-demand driverless-capable vehicle networks in addition to the requirements of sections 60-3301 to 60-3311 .\n\n(3) The state or any political subdivision thereof shall not impose a tax or other requirements on an automated-driving-system-equipped vehicle, an automated driving system, or an on-demand driverless-capable vehicle network, where such tax or other requirements relate specifically to the operation of automated-driving-system-equipped vehicles.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 60"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=60-3308","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"a866fa7b210022f29c3a3b1a76d4636cd85ee5c55e7002575b3d7469ca3b2023","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-60-3307","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-60-3309"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
