Stat. § 60-4,139","heading":"Commercial motor vehicle; nonresident; operating privilege.","body":"Any nonresident may operate a commercial motor vehicle upon the highways of this state if:\n(1) Such nonresident has in his or her immediate possession a valid commercial driver's license or a valid commercial learner's permit issued by his or her state of residence or by a jurisdiction with standards that are in accord with 49 C.F.R. parts 383 and 391;\n(2) The license or permit is not suspended, revoked, or canceled;\n(3) Such nonresident is not disqualified from operating a commercial motor vehicle;\n(4) The commercial motor vehicle is not operated in violation of any downgrade; and\n(5) Such nonresident does not have a status of prohibited in the federal Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.","path":["Chapter 60 - MOTOR VEHICLES"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=60-4,139","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:11Z","sha256":"fbc543bdca3974779b17baa53e6215ff93dd3692abc7f09dab007a211bc38050","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-60-4-138","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-60-4-139.01"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
