Stat. § 60-528","body":"Proof of financial responsibility shall be furnished for each motor vehicle registered by any person required to give such proof by filing:\n\n(1) A certificate of insurance as provided in section 60-529 or 60-531 ;\n\n(2) A bond as provided in sections 60-547 and 60-548 ;\n\n(3) A certificate of deposit of money or securities as provided in section 60-549 ; or\n\n(4) A certificate of self-insurance as provided in sections 60-562 to 60-564 .\n\nThe department shall issue to any person providing the proof of financial responsibility a copy of any filing described in subdivision (2), (3), or (4) of this section with the department's seal affixed to the copy.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 60"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=60-528","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"6e4555270907273395c26fec779b9bea0d44ab387c7b8b3647346c9ec873034b","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-60-527","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-60-529"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
