Stat. § 60-6,308","heading":"Operating motorcycles on roadways laned for traffic; prohibited acts.","body":"(1) A motorcycle shall be entitled to full use of a traffic lane of any highway, and no vehicle shall be driven in such a manner as to deprive any motorcycle of the full use of such lane, except that motorcycles may be operated two abreast in a single lane.\n(2) The operator of a motorcycle shall not overtake and pass in the same lane occupied by a vehicle being overtaken.\n(3) No person shall operate a motorcycle between lanes of traffic or between adjacent lines or rows of vehicles.\n(4) Motorcycles shall not be operated more than two abreast in a single lane.\n(5) Subsections (2) and (3) of this section shall not apply to peace officers in the performance of their official duties.\n(6) No person who rides upon a motorcycle shall attach himself, herself, or the motorcycle to any other vehicle on a roadway.\n(7) For purposes of this section, motorcycle does not include an autocycle.","path":["Chapter 60 - MOTOR VEHICLES"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=60-6,308","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:11Z","sha256":"289ec1296500a9220135a030f090a69ed9e1887beed4688a255306fe4cd56d92","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-60-6-307","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-60-6-309"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
