Stat. § 60-6,364","heading":"Applicability of sections.","body":"Sections 60-6,363 to 60-6,374 shall apply to all diesel-powered motor vehicles operated within this state with the exception of the following:\n(1) Emergency vehicles operated by federal, state, and local governmental authorities;\n(2) Vehicles which are not required to be registered in accordance with the Motor Vehicle Registration Act;\n(3) Vehicles used for research and development which have been approved by the Director of Water, Energy, and Environment;\n(4) Vehicles being operated while undergoing maintenance;\n(5) Vehicles operated under emergency conditions;\n(6) Vehicles being operated in the course of training programs which have been approved by the director; and\n(7) Other vehicles expressly exempted by the director.","path":["Chapter 60 - MOTOR VEHICLES"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=60-6,364","current_through":"Laws 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:01:11Z","sha256":"a48a8bb04ba6a5a35488deb8673f8bc67d933e8dd4555b7e60f1d96567148edb","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-60-6-363","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-60-6-365"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
