Stat. § 60-628.01","body":"(1) Low-speed vehicle means any:\n\n(a) Four-wheeled motor vehicle:\n\n(i) With a speed attainable in one mile of more than twenty miles per hour and not more than twenty-five miles per hour on a paved, level surface;\n\n(ii) With a gross vehicle weight rating of less than three thousand pounds; and\n\n(iii) That complies with 49 C.F.R. part 571, as such part existed on the date specified in section 60-201 ; or\n\n(b) Three-wheeled motor vehicle:\n\n(i) With a maximum speed attainable of not more than twenty-five miles per hour on a paved, level surface;\n\n(ii) With a gross vehicle weight rating of less than three thousand pounds; and\n\n(iii) That is equipped with a windshield and an occupant protection system.\n\n(2) Low-speed vehicle does not include a motorcycle with a sidecar attached.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 60"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=60-628.01","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"fdf69f5f1d75bbed8a3bc75968ca02e460a48b144757fdcde198df5ea9ce64da","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-60-628","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-60-629"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
