Stat. § 60-676.01","body":"Vulnerable road user means:\n\n(1) Any pedestrian who is:\n\n(a) On a highway and constructing or repairing such highway;\n\n(b) Working on utility facilities along a highway;\n\n(c) Providing emergency services on or along a highway;\n\n(d) In a crosswalk; or\n\n(e) On the shoulder;\n\n(2) Any individual operating any of the following on or along a highway:\n\n(a) Any bicycle;\n\n(b) Any electric bicycle;\n\n(c) Any motorcycle other than an autocycle;\n\n(d) Any moped; or\n\n(e) Any vehicle or device similar to any vehicle or device listed in subdivisions (2)(a) through (2)(d) of this section;\n\n(3) Any individual who is riding any animal or driving any animal-drawn vehicle on or along a highway;\n\n(4) Any individual operating an implement of husbandry, including a farm tractor, that is on or along a highway; and\n\n(5) Any individual who is in a crosswalk or on a shoulder and who is on any:\n\n(a) Coaster, skate, sled, ski, board, or toy vehicle;\n\n(b) Electric personal assistive mobility device; or\n\n(c) Wheelchair.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 60"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=60-676.01","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"200183bd18e6432e076b018417d4dc2b4d8ca72dde86345ec66d8f277a95864a","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-60-676","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-60-678"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
