Stat. § 71-2088","body":"A receiver appointed under section 71-2086 may exercise those powers and shall perform those duties set out by the court. A receiver may:\n\n(1) Assume the role of administrator and take control of day-to-day operations or name an administrator to conduct the day-to-day operations of the health care facility subject to the supervision and direction of the receiver;\n\n(2) Remedy violations of federal and state laws and regulations governing the operation of the health care facility;\n\n(3) Let contracts and hire agents and employees, including legal counsel, to carry out the powers and duties of the receiver; and\n\n(4) Hire or discharge any employees including the administrator.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 71"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=71-2088","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"cbd9828ae9a768929e75a9b03d4b0e328f1f0e3ed1774b35091e60ca9a69112f","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-71-2087","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-71-2089"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
