Stat. § 71-2497","body":"For purposes of the Prescription Drug Donation Program Act:\n\n(1) Department means the Department of Health and Human Services;\n\n(2) Health care facility has the definition found in section 71-413 and includes the office of an individual licensed to practice medicine and surgery or osteopathic medicine and surgery;\n\n(3) Pharmacy has the definition found in section 71-425 ;\n\n(4) Prescribing practitioner means a health care practitioner licensed under the Uniform Credentialing Act who is authorized to prescribe drugs;\n\n(5) Prescription drug has the definition found in section 38-2841 excluding controlled substances as defined in section 28-401 and any drugs subject to the requirements of 21 U.S.C. 355-1(f)(3); and\n\n(6) Program means the Prescription Drug Donation Program approved pursuant to section 71-2498 .","path":["NE Code","Chapter 71"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=71-2497","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"79235d809675ce7a196d406f03f20f1383a187124123abf1ca03474e64884a9f","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-71-2496","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-71-2498"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
