Stat. § 71-4827","body":"Subject to section 71-4831 , an anatomical gift of a donor's body or part may be made during the life of the donor for the purpose of transplantation, therapy, research, or education in the manner provided in section 71-4828 by:\n\n(1) The donor, if the donor is an adult or if the donor is a minor and is:\n\n(A) Emancipated; or\n\n(B) Authorized under state law to apply for a driver's license and the donor is at least sixteen years of age;\n\n(2) An agent of the donor, unless the power of attorney for health care or other record prohibits the agent from making an anatomical gift;\n\n(3) A parent of the donor, if the donor is an unemancipated minor; or\n\n(4) The donor's guardian.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 71"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=71-4827","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"3c8876a30f668a4b1a77d67fd63c073a78d26d433752a10ada034bf688d58b4b","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-71-4826","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-71-4828"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
