Stat. § 71-8240","body":"The department shall establish and maintain the following on a statewide basis:\n\n(1) Trauma system objectives and priorities;\n\n(2) Minimum trauma standards for facilities, equipment, and personnel for advanced, basic, comprehensive, and general level trauma centers and specialty level burn or pediatric trauma centers;\n\n(3) Minimum standards for facilities, equipment, and personnel for advanced, intermediate, and general level rehabilitation centers;\n\n(4) Minimum trauma standards for the development of facility patient care protocols;\n\n(5) Trauma care regions as provided for in section 71-8250 ;\n\n(6) A program for emergency medical services and trauma care research and development; and\n\n(7) The designation of hospitals and health care facilities to provide designated trauma care services.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 71"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=71-8240","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"5230a21d3e477157a036e845cfcfda40b788d1a56997b26a1be1b0693262e2c2","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-71-824","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-71-8241"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
