Stat. § 71-8242","body":"The department shall:\n\n(1) Maintain the statewide trauma registry pursuant to section 71-8248 to assess the effectiveness of trauma delivery and modify standards and other requirements of the statewide trauma system to improve the provision of emergency medical services and trauma care;\n\n(2) Develop patient outcome measures to assess the effectiveness of trauma care in the system;\n\n(3) Develop standards for regional trauma care quality assurance programs; and\n\n(4) Coordinate and develop trauma prevention and education programs.\n\nThe department shall administer funding allocated to the department for the purpose of creating, maintaining, or enhancing the statewide trauma system.","path":["NE Code","Chapter 71"],"source_url":"https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=71-8242","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:21Z","sha256":"25eac56dd3547fe055bf72351b5c95908316d7492b7392ced5f614ed583a7c87","source_id":"us-ne","stale":false,"prev":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-71-8241","next":"us-ne/neb.-rev.-stat.-71-8243"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
